Abstract | One of the major objectives of SO 140-2 was to recover and redeploy the sediment trap systems deployed on SO 132 in the upwelling areas and in the open South China Sea, and to record the NE-SW intermonsoon thermohaline structure and nutrient distribution patterns at the trap sites. During SO140 the HSDS was used for continuous bathymetric recording, but it was not the main focus of the cruise and the responsible party provided no further acquisition information. |
