Abstract | Major objectives the SO157 cruise were to establish the nature of plume-ridge interactions, to define the extent and genesis of silica-rich (>55 wt.% SiOa) lavas outcropping along the ridge crest, and to investigate the relationship between the silica-rich lavas and widespread hydrothermal activity. The newly installed SIMRAD EM120 system was used to create the first high resolution bathymetric map of the PAR crest. But further acquisition information have not been stated by the responsible party. |
