Purpose | |
Abstract | The cruise SO 160 mapped and sampled a region of the seafloor of the Galapagos Rise, a fossil spreading centre in the SE Pacific Ocean. The objective of the cruise was to determine the exact location of the fossil axis as well as its structure, age, and composition. Though the EM120 was used continuously during SO160 it was not the focus of the cruise and the responsible party has provided no further acquisition information. |
