| Abstract | The upwelling area off the Vietnamese coast was sampled along a station grid between 9° and 12° N and 106° and 110°E stretching from the coast of offshore. Temperature, salinity, and fluorescence were measured vertically at 60 stations. 15 stations also nutrients and production were measured along with the diversity and abundance of the plankton community. A special focus was layed upon the mixing of the Mekong river plume with the South China Sea waters. Though multibeam data has been recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further informations has been provided by the responsible party. |
