Abstract | SO188-2 aimed to gain a general overview on the structure and composition of the Bengal deep-sea fan and the shelf of Bangladesh with new techniques and methods. Unfortunately the EM120 system actually worked unreliable and computers crashed quite often. Additionally, the quality of the data was unusually bad, especially the central part of the swath, where the depths are amplitude-derived, was really noisy. We thought that these errors were the result of a software update installed during the last shipyard time. Additionally, the data quality in water depths below 100 m was not usable. |
