Abstract | The work of SO-220 pursued a multidisciplinary approach. The continental shelf of the Gulf of Tonkin and its continental slope at the transition to the deep-sea areas in the South China Sea were surveyed by three teams from a biogeochemical , physical oceanographic and coastal-marine geologic approach. Though multibeam data has been recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further informations has been provided by the responsible party. |
