Abstract | The aim of the cruise was to collect 5 long sediment cores with the drill rig "MeBo" in the northern part of the South China Sea at two different sites in order to investigate changes in the Pearl River runoff that can be related to variations in the summer monsoon rainfall during the past glacial-interglacial cycles. The EM120 worked absolutely reliably throughout the cruise and provided a very high data quality. |
