Abstract | Main objective during cruise MSM57 was to investigate gas hydrate systems and their dynamics at the continental margin of Svalbard. During cruise MSM57, the maximum swath width was set to 120 degrees to improve data quality, reduce the amount of noisy data at the outer beams, and increase the ping rate. The Beam Spacing was set to EQST, while the Ping Mode was set to Auto and the Dual Swath Mode was off. Pitch/Yaw stabilization was ON as an improvement of data quality |
