| Abstract | Sound velocity profiles obtained during CTD operations were implemented for calibration. During the M72/2 expedition the EM710 multibeam echo sounder was operated in the Black Sea. The vessel’s speed was approximately 5 kn during the surveys, and 10 kn during the transits. Surveys were conducted in both areas, the Crimea slope and the Sorokin Trough. |
