Purpose | |
Abstract | The marine geophysical research goal was to deploy and redeploy current meter mooring in the Eastern Atlantic in the near of Madeira. The collected data was used to understand more about the subtropical wind circulations. Another main research interest was the chemical analysis of the maritime climate. Therefore trace gases in the atmosphere were studied. Additionally hydrographic data was collected using a CTD rosette system. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
