Abstract | The main objective of cruise M15/2 was to measure the flow of water from the Argentine Basin to the Brazil Basin through the Hunter Channel, present and over the past several hundred thousend years using a combination of CTD stations, detailed bathymetric surveys (hydrosweep) and sediment cores. A biological sampling programme of the upper 200m was also carried out during this leg. It was part of the WOCE program. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
