| Abstract | The research aim of cruise M15/3 was the investigation of water circulation in the Southern Atlantic using current meters (ADCP). Additionally water samples were taken to measure trace elements and reconstruct the spreading and the parameters of main water masses. It was part of the WHP (WOCE). Air chemical measurements were also taken. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
