Purpose
Abstract The aim of the fourth leg of M16 was a seismic survey of the volcanoclastic Apron of Gran Canary as a basis for the selection of future drilling location that are a part of the Ocean Drilling Program. The scientific program included next to seismic survey (reflection and refraction) gravity and magnetic measurements. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party.
