Purpose | |
Abstract | The main research aim of M20/2 was to study the current system and chemical properties in the Southern Atlantic during the Quaternary. Additionally geoaccoustic methods used to investigate sedimentary structure. Sediment moorings which were deployed during cruise M16 were discovered and redeployed. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
