| Abstract | The main research topic of leg M25/4 was to study the surface and subsurface structures of the Mediterranean Ridge (MR) using bathymetric systems, coring and refration seismic surveys. Additionally gravity and magnetic surveys were done. Another aim of the cruise was to collect undisturbed sediment sequences for a technochronological study using volcanic ashes. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
