Purpose | |
Abstract | The working area of cruise M26/3 was the Norwegian and the Greenland Sea. Using geophysical methods and sediment sampling the main research interest was to study the variations of the sediment stability under the influence of gas hydrates at the Storegga slide. Additionally particle flux measurements were done. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
