| Abstract | Leg 2 of cruise 28 was a part of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE). Therefore the water mass distribution and spreading within the Brazil Basin was the main scientific object of the cruise. The investigation of the main topic included sediment and water sampling (CTD) as well as radiative measurements at the sea surface. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep Data were collected- The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
