Purpose | |
Abstract | During the first cruise leg M39-1, paleo-oceanographic work was carried out in the eastern Atlantic. The objective was to document the history of the North Atlantics thermohaline circulation during the last glacial period. Hydrosweep profiling during M39/1 concentrated on sediment drifts in the northern part of the Gulf of Cadiz. Due to good weather conditions the recording went very well and the echosounder performed as expected. |
