Abstract | During cruise M42/1, which was a part of the EU project CANIGO and the German-Spanish observations at the station ESTOC, the regional and time variability of hydrographic parameter and fluxes was measured using current meters and CTD-rosette sampling systems. Additionally vessel mounted and moored instrument were used to observe the particle flux and other geochemical parameters. M42/1 was divided into 2 parts. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep and Parasound Data were collected. The used Hydrosweep is a multibeam echosounder using a frequency of 15.5 kHz. The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
