| Abstract | During M42/3 the influence of the Great Meteor Bank on the biology and hydrology was studied. The scientific program included sampling of water and sediments. Phyto- and Micro-Zooplankton was analyzed. During the entire cruise Hydrosweep and Parasound Data were collected. The used Hydrosweep is a multibeam echosounder using a frequency of 15.5 kHz. The quality of profiles varies coherent to weather conditions and ship course. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
