Purpose | |
Abstract | M47 was organized to bring together research focused on the Equatorial Atlantic Ocean from very different disciplines as oceanography, geophysics of the ocean crust and reflection seismics combined with marine geology and geochemistry. The first leg compiled an oceanographic research program, to follow the warm water pathways in the western tropical Atlantic. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
