Purpose | |
Abstract | The third leg of M58 included three projects. The aim of the QUEST projects was to test the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) QUEST 5 by the University of Bremen in deep waters. During the transect between the Canary Islands and the Azores water samples via CTD rosettes were taken (ESTOC). The leg involved updating a data buoy which is part of the DOLAN program. Though bathymetry data were recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
