| Abstract | During the cruise M61/1 following topics were addressed: Water mass distribution and characteristics in the carbonate mound province, longterm benthic boundary layer processes in living environment, mapping of biological habitats and sedimentary facies and paleo-environmental reconstruction of carbonate mounds. The cruise M61/2 dealt with the study of extensional processes. During the cruise the crustal thickness and the stretching factor were investigated. Though multibeam data was recorded, it was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party. |
