Purpose
Abstract The major aim of the cruise M66/4a is to understand the processes occurring in the outer rise. To study the impact of outer rise faulting on the hydration of the oceanic crust approaching the Middle America trench offshore Nicaragua two different techniques were used. Though multibeam data was recorded. Multibeam data was not the main focus of the cruise and no further information have been provided by the responsible party.
