| Abstract | During the transit from atmospheric data of aerosol, trace-gases and clouds were collected with the purpose to provide needed reference data over oceans for global modeling and satellite remote sensing. Aerosol amount and size as well as trace-gas column amounts and their lower altitude concentrations were sampled with different handheld sun-photometers and MAX-DOAS instruments. Overall around 122,631 km2 were mapped along a distance of approximately 6,870 km. The measured water depths range from -6,042 m in the area of the fracture zone west of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge to -70 m on top of the Davis Bank. Altogether, data over 11 days 18 h 16 min (> 282 h) were recorded. |
